That’s why we’ve come up with 5 Yoga Asanas that you can practice daily for healthy glowing skin.

1. Uttanasana

The word comes from Sanskrit, where ‘ut’ means intense and ‘tan’ is for stretching, ‘asana’ is for posture. In modern language, this pose is called the “standing forward bend pose,” where one bends down in a standing position and stretches him to that position. Try and touch the ground with both your palms. Now stay in that position for at least 30 seconds. Bend your knee a little if you are a beginner. Through this asana, the blood starts flowing faster to the face, by bringing oxygen it help in the renewal of cells, which in turn helps in fighting the dirt making you gloomier. This asana will also help you to reduce that extra tummy fat as well as nourish your body.


 2. Halasana

‘Hala’ in Sanskrit is for the plow. Therefore it is also known as the “plow pose.” It’s a simple and fun pose to practice, something that we use to do for no reason when we were kids. Lie down on your back and slowly raise your leg and your torso up from the ground. Now touch the spaces with toes, which is beside your head. Stay like this for 10-15 seconds. This pose would also help in the blood circulation of the face and for healthy digestion which is needed for a healthy looking skin.

3. Sarvangasana

This shoulder stand poses other than blood circulation also helps strengthening your arms and shoulders. After lying on your back, lift your legs, back, and buttocks up. Support the back with your hands. Now stay in that pose while breathing for 30-40 seconds. It stretches the muscles of the heart bringing more blood towards it. It also purifies the blood which is essential for a clear complexion.

4. Bhujangasana

It is known by the name “Cobra pose” that help to reduce the stress and fatigue off from your body and mind. Lie on your stomach with toes attached to the floor and hands fixed parallel to your shoulders. Now gradually lift your torso up from the floor, making the arch from your back. Hold this posture for 1 minute approx. By opening up your chest, the pose will help you gulp more supplies of oxygen in your body and getting rid of the body toxins.

5. Bharadwaja’s twist

If your digestive system is healthy, your skin will glow automatically. This posture helps improve your digestive health by clearing out all the toxins and waste out from the body. It also relieves the pain in your neck. Sit on the floor with your legs tucked beside your buttocks. Then twist your torso right with your left hand beside the knee for support. Stay in this pose for 1 minute and later repeat vice-versa twist to the left.
